Ariel and Her Sistersby ~wafflegasm

So I recently watched the ABOMINATION that is "The Little Mermaid 3: Ariel's Beginning" out of morbid curiosity. And, just as I'd suspected, it sucked. Hard. If you liked it, I'm sorry for you, as you are obviously too young to know how far that particular Disney franchise has fallen. I'm speaking as someone who saw the original "Little Mermaid" in all its theatrical glory. Albeit, I was three, but I still remember pretending to be Ariel in the bathtub for weeks afterward. Yeah, this new movie made my eyes rain.
That being said, there was one (and only one) aspect of the movie I rather enjoyed, and that was the fact that we got to know Ariel's six sisters a little better. I wanted to do some fan art of them, so the mer-group ended up with a severe case of manga. I actually had to do some research, because I had no idea who was who among Triton's other daughters. Here's a list, for those who also have no idea:

Aquata-blue tail
Attina-yellow tail, tiara
Alana-black hair, stupid face (that's my fault, though)
Adella-orange tail, looks like she doesn't want to be in the picture

Andrina-violet tail, silly hair piece
Arista-red tail

And of course there's Ariel. I really like the way this came out, after an extensive touching-up in Photoshop. I'm gonna end this novella of a description now.

i liked that movie. and i'm not young. it wasn't so much for the plot. and god was it better than 2. It was enjoyable. I think it's kinda the same feeling (for me) and any sequel. It's not the original but there were some good things about it. I liked the bad guy and her hench man, i liked the fact that sebastian wasn't so much of a tight wad, and i liked the fact that, as you said, we got to meet more of her family.

if anything i think your undying hatred should be pointed at the fail tale that was the little mermaid 2. It did the same thing to Ariel that the lion king 2 did to Simba: turned them into an overly controlling parent who forgot what it was like to be a kid.

its very lovely. the only thing i would make a point to complain of, is the color inacuracey (if you were going for original color, that is)
